Consistently good experience

This isn't my first time using Google Antigravity. I've built a few agents with the platform over the last six months, mainly using the Orchestration Engine and Managed Agent Hosting. This latest project, a complex enterprise agent, has been just as smooth as previous ones. The platform's reliability is a big reason I keep coming back. My data science team finds the Agent Analytics Dashboard very useful too, and it's been consistent across all our projects. No surprises, which is what you want for production systems.

Great value with free tier

As a first-time user, I was looking for something affordable to start building AI agents. The free tier for Google Antigravity was perfect! I got to test out the Pre-built Agent Templates and even integrate a custom model without spending a dime. The $300 in developer credits were a huge bonus and made it feel like a really worthwhile platform to invest time in. Definitely felt like I got more than my money's worth, or rather, my time's worth, as I didn't pay anything upfront.

Good for building agents

I tried out the Antigravity Agent SDK last week to build a simple content summarizer. It was pretty straightforward to get going. The documentation was decent, and I had my agent up and running in a couple of hours. The platform feels pretty solid overall, no major hiccups. Would recommend giving it a shot if you're into AI agents.

Solid platform, minor issues

I've been experimenting with the Multi-agent Framework and it's quite powerful. The collaboration features in the Development Environment are a definite plus for our team. However, debugging complex agent interactions still feels a bit clunky, even with the Debugging Suite. It took a bit longer than I hoped to pinpoint a specific issue. Overall, the value is there, especially with the initial developer credits, but I hope they refine the debugging tools in future updates. Delivery of updates is consistent, which is good.

Agentic Workflow Builder is great

I just built my first multi-agent system using the Agentic Workflow Builder and it was so intuitive! The drag-and-drop interface saved me so much time. My agent for customer support is already working better than expected. I will definitely be back to explore more features, and I've already told my dev team about it!

is the managed agent hosting expensive once you start scaling? trying to figure out the long-term costs.

W William Perez 3 weeks ago
It's usage-based, so it ramps up with your agent activity. You get some initial credits though, which helps a lot. Monitoring tools are pretty good for keeping an eye on it.

Billing is usually monthly for hosting, but it's tiered. Hard to give an exact number without knowing your load, but the analytics dashboard helps you track spend.

so how do you even get those 'free credits' everyone talks about? is there like a promo code field somewhere on the site?

L Leah Hall 2 weeks ago
It's not really promo codes. usually through Google Cloud credits or special invites from dev events. Check the Google Cloud console for existing credits, they sometimes apply there.

yeah, don't look for a box for a coupon code. it's more about developer programs or startup deals, not like a regular store coupon.

can you actually cancel anytime? or do they lock you into a yearly thing after the free tier?

M Matt B. 1 week ago
You can cancel subscriptions at any point, afaik. It's not like a hard yearly contract unless you specifically sign up for an enterprise annual plan.

Yep, monthly billing for most stuff, so you're not locked in. Super flexible.

trying to compare Antigravity with LangChain. for a small dev shop, which one's gonna be easier to get going with agentic workflows?

L Linda Phillips 4 weeks ago
Antigravity, no doubt. The dev console and pre-built templates make it much faster to prototype, especially if you're already in the Google ecosystem.

J Jason W. 4 weeks ago
Depends on what you're doing. LangChain has a bigger community for some specific use cases, but Antigravity's orchestration engine and managed hosting are pretty sweet if you don't want to mess with infra.

thinking about using Antigravity for a client project, but what about security? any known issues or is it pretty locked down?

M Matt H. 1 month ago
They have a 'Security Sandbox' and 'Enterprise Governance Layer' listed, so it sounds like they take it seriously. Built on Google infrastructure too, so that's a plus.

R Rachel Moore 1 month ago
It's Google, so security is usually pretty tight. I haven't heard of any major vulnerabilities. Plus, the memory management module helps keep agent data isolated, I think.
